President's Message

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year. Our theme for Downey Council this year is "Support 19"

Supporting Units & Providing Parenteral Opportunities for Resources and Tools

I am so honored to lead Downey Council PTA this school term.

We have an excellent team, and I am confident that we will have a year full of growth and success.

Thank you to the superintendents, unit presidents, principals, teachers, and parents/guardians

for the commitment you make daily for the students of Downey Unified.

You are making a difference for the education, health, and welfare of our children.

I wish you all a successful year and look forward to working alongside each of you.
